Purpose
To define, commercialise, and deliver Valliance’s value-first approach to AI consulting, ensuring every engagement creates measurable, lasting impact. You’ll shape how enterprises quantify business outcomes from AI, guiding them from ambition to realised value.
This is both a strategic and entrepreneurial role. You’ll set the standards for what “value-first” means, lead flagship client engagements, and build scalable frameworks that anchor Valliance’s consulting DNA around outcomes, not outputs.
Key Accountabilities
1. Define the Value-First Framework
Establish Valliance’s definition of value-first AI through principles, measurement models, and proof points.
Design the Valliance Value Framework linking business impact to AI maturity, adoption, and performance.
Embed value measurement and benefits realisation into every engagement, from discovery to scale-up.
Develop methods for quantifying ROI, productivity improvement, risk reduction, and innovation outcomes.
2. Build and Scale Offerings
Design and codify a suite of value-based offerings.
Standardise engagement templates, playbooks, and SoWs to enable repeatable, outcome-led delivery.
Work with delivery teams to ensure all engagements include value tracking, reporting, and client co-validation.
Build the commercial logic behind outcome-based pricing models that align fees to realised value.
3. Drive Client Engagement and Growth
Serve as executive sponsor for key enterprise clients, ensuring strategic alignment and measurable success.
Lead value definition and measurement across transformation programmes as a trusted C-suite advisor.
Collaborate with partners to shape proposals, pricing, and commercial models centred on tangible outcomes.
Develop new client relationships through a clear, differentiated value-first narrative.
4. Build Internal Capability
Coach consulting teams in value articulation, outcome measurement, and benefits storytelling.
Foster a culture that prioritises impact over activity, where value creation is the measure of success.
Partner with the CTO and AI delivery teams to ensure technical roadmaps align with measurable business results.
Identify and grow value-oriented talent, building a pipeline of consultants who can sell and deliver with impact.
5. Represent Valliance Externally
Act as ambassador for Valliance’s value-first mission through publications, conferences, and community engagement.
Lead conversations with investors, partners, and clients around value realisation, ROI, and business outcomes.
Shape Valliance’s intellectual property on value measurement, from frameworks and benchmarks to playbooks and client case studies.
Success Indicators
Client transformation stories – Within 6 months, clients experience breakthrough clarity about how AI drives measurable outcomes, leading to expanded scope and multi-year partnerships rather than one-off projects.
Value delivered and realised – Projects you lead produce ROI that demonstrably exceeds client expectations, enabling Valliance to capture a fair value share and strengthen our outcome-based pricing model.
Proposition maturity – Within the first quarter, you’ve launched the Valliance Value Framework and a catalogue of value-first offerings that underpin all engagements.
Internal capability uplift – By the end of year one, every Valliance consultant can confidently articulate and deliver value-first engagements, with at least three consultants certified as Value Leads.
Accelerator toolkit created – You identify repeatable value-measurement patterns and build reusable tools, dashboards, and frameworks that reduce time-to-value across projects by 30–50%.
Long-term partnerships established – Clients renew and expand engagements because they can see and quantify value realised, moving from experimentation to enterprise adoption.
Commercial pipeline contribution – Your credibility and results directly influence 2–3 major deal wins per year, with your involvement cited as a key success factor in client decision-making.
Sustainable delivery model – Knowledge, methods, and playbooks are codified so the value-first proposition scales beyond you. Delivery continues seamlessly even when you’re not directly involved.
Strategic insights surfaced – Your client work identifies new opportunities, such as data monetisation, agentic workflows, and multi-year transformation programmes, feeding Valliance’s broader growth agenda.
Thought leadership impact – You publish influential pieces that shape how the market thinks about AI value measurement, contributing to Valliance’s reputation as the go-to value consultancy in AI.

10+ years in management consulting with deep expertise in AI, data, or digital transformation.
Proven record of delivering outcome-based or value-linked engagements at enterprise scale.
Strong commercial acumen, confident in shaping, pricing, and negotiating complex consulting deals.
Experience advising board and C-suite leaders, translating technology potential into business impact.
Background in operating model design, AI adoption, or benefits realisation preferred.
