Valliance co-founder Tarek Nseir on how the firm aims to fix AI’s expectations gap

UK businesses are spending over £320 billion annually on AI, with £66 billion flowing to external consultants. Yet half of those projects fall short of expectations. Tarek Nseir, co-founder and Senior Value Partner at Valliance, built the firm around a simple diagnosis. The traditional consultancy model is structurally broken. It rewards activity over outcomes, charges by the hour regardless of results, and lacks the impartiality to give genuinely useful advice. Valliance launched as an AI-native consultancy that charges based on value delivered, not time spent.

The founding team combines deep technical expertise with commercial leadership. Nseir started TH_NK straight out of university and went on to advise brands including ASOS, Allianz and Aston Martin, and co-created Pottermore alongside J.K. Rowling. Co-founder Rad Parvin led global data strategies for Nike, Shell, Heineken and Vodafone. The team is supported by Dom Selvon, a pioneer of composable architecture and long-standing MACH Alliance board member.

With $15 million in funding and three global clients already signed, Valliance's ambition is clear. The firm is targeting £5 billion of measurable value for European enterprises by 2030, and redefining what AI consultancy should look like for the era it was built for.
