Over the past few years, AI in many Dutch boardrooms has been a mix of experimentation and fear of falling behind. That is about to change.
In my latest article on Dutch business and consulting platform Consultancy.nl, I predict that 2026 will be the year in which AI shifts from experimentation to the core of business operations. From individual tools to integration at the team and process level, and from ‘trying it out’ to a fundamental review of the way work is done.This shift is not just about productivity. It’s about connecting fragmented processes, redefining roles and responsibilities, and building trust in AI systems through transparency, governance and human oversight.
Organizations that keep AI on the periphery will fall behind. Organizations that integrate AI into their core will create a lasting advantage.
