Ahmed Hussain
Value Consultant - Associate Partner
A practitioner with 20 years working in financial services transformation, not advising from the outside, but embedded inside the programmes where the real decisions get made and the real risks get taken. Ahmed built his career removing the hidden friction that stalls $100M+ programmes. Now bringing that same surgical precision to help Valliance's clients turn strategic ambition into measurable outcomes.
Ahmed's career spans Tier-1 financial institutions and global consultancies, including EY, Genpact, and EPAM, where he led high-stakes insurance and technology transformations globally.
Earlier in his career, Ahmed was an implementation architect at Guidewire, a transformation lead at The Co-operators, and an engineer working across CIBC, Allstate, and Nexus Risk. This foundation ensured he actually built the systems he now advises clients to transform. At EY, where he spent eight years rising to Senior Manager and Director, he led complex insurance and technology engagements for Tier-1 institutions across North America.
Advised CEOs and leadership teams as Global Head of Insurance Advisory at Genpact on how to architect growth without being suffocated by operational complexity
Removed what he calls the "hidden tax" on growth: the outdated MGA value chains, bloated cloud infrastructure, and legacy decision-making processes that quietly erode enterprise performance
At EPAM Systems, he built and led a specialist capability at the intersection of systems integration and enterprise transformation.
Led large-scale programmes not by adding process, but by establishing the metrics and operating rhythms that actually drive velocity
